In 2021, we successfully completed one of the largest landslide mitigation projects in the hilly terrain of Lambagarh, Uttarakhand. This project, located on National Highway 58, was a crucial undertaking as NH-58 is the road leading to the holy shrine of Badrinath Temple, a popular Hindu pilgrimage site.

Landslides can be a major problem in hilly areas such as Lambagarh, as they can cause significant damage to infrastructure, disrupt transportation and trade, and pose a risk to the safety of local residents and visitors. Therefore, it was important for us to take action to address this issue in a timely and effective manner.

To mitigate the landslide at Lambagarh, we employed a range of techniques and technologies. These included the use of geotextile fabrics and other materials to stabilize the slope, as well as the construction of retaining walls and other structural supports. We also carried out extensive analysis and monitoring to ensure that our work was effective in reducing the risk of further landslides.

The completion of this project marks a significant milestone in our efforts to improve the infrastructure and safety of NH-58. By mitigating the landslide at Lambagarh, we have not only protected the road and the surrounding area from further damage, but we have also enhanced the reliability and safety of this important transportation corridor.
