Gholteer Landslide - 1

The route connecting Rudraprayag to Gauchar, Chamoli, Joshimath, Mana, Kumaon, and Badrinath Dham has long been a source of frustration for travelers due to its susceptibility to road blockages and landslides. In an effort to address these issues and prevent accidental damages, a project was undertaken in 2020 to treat this location with concrete walls, Rhomboidal wire mesh, and proper anchoring.

The rainy season in this region can be particularly treacherous, with heavy downpours often leading to landslides and rendering the roads unsafe for travel. These landslides can cause significant damage to the road itself, as well as pose a danger to the lives of those who use it. By implementing these measures, we have been able to mitigate these risks and ensure the continued safe passage of people and goods through the area.

The road connecting Rudraprayag to Gauchar, Chamoli, Joshimath, Mana, Kumaon, and Badrinath Dham is an essential transportation route for the local population and those who rely on it for their daily travel needs. It is vital that this road be kept in good condition in order to facilitate the smooth flow of traffic and commerce. The completion of this project has greatly improved the safety and reliability of this route, and we can be proud of the work that has been done to ensure its continued functionality.

Overall, the treatment of this location with concrete walls, Rhomboidal wire mesh, and proper anchoring has been a major success. It has greatly improved the safety and reliability of an important transportation route, and has helped to protect against the dangers of landslides in the area. We will continue to strive for excellence in all of our construction projects, working towards the goal of creating safer and more reliable transportation routes for all.
